Review Desk — Privacy Policy

This explains what information Review Desk (run by Strategic Online Corp.) collects and how it is used — for the businesses that subscribe and for their customers who leave feedback.

What we collect

• Businesses: business and contact details, team members' names and emails, and billing records (card details are held by Stripe, never by us).
• Customers of those businesses: first name, email address, the rating and comment they choose to leave, and whether they clicked through to leave a Google review.
• Technical: a scrambled (hashed) version of the IP address used to submit feedback, to stop spam.

How it's used

• To let the business follow up with its own customers and ask for reviews.
• To send the emails the business sets up, each with an unsubscribe link.
• To draft suggested replies to public Google reviews, using an AI service that processes the review text only for that purpose.

We don't sell personal information and don't use it for advertising.

Who processes it for us

Hosting (Vercel), database (Supabase), email delivery (Resend), bot protection (Cloudflare), payments (Stripe), and AI drafting (Anthropic). Each handles data only to provide its part of the service.

Your choices

• Customers can unsubscribe from a business's emails with one click, and can ask the business or us to delete their information.
• Businesses can ask for a copy or deletion of their data when they cancel.
